Question by nicole: Can a Candian travel to the US for 2 months and say they are going to volunteer for free?
will this be allowed? will they be allowed to cross the border if they have proof that the position is UNPAID? can they say they are ‘Traveling/visiting’ the us and volunteering their time while there?
anyone know the rules about this? Thanks

A canadian can volunteer or work in the US for up to one year less a day continuously as long as you follow the NAFTA guidlines.
