Question by Ali: How do you write a letter to raise funds for a volunteer travel program?
My daughter is going on a volunteer travel program in the spring to help homeless children in Hawaii. It was recommended to reduce the $4,000 expenses by sending letters to companies asking for donations. Easy enough, right? Can anyone assist us at this daunting task? What do you suggest we write in this letter? What are some big companies that make good donations? Thanks again! If anyone is an exceptional writer/editor and can help with that, it would be greatly appreciated as well.

I guess you need a sample fundraising letter.. It is one of the ways to raise funds..
